FROM PARTICIPANT TO INSTRUCTOR
Walking the Fire Is Only the Beginning.

Participating in a firewalk asks you to take responsibility for yourself.

Leading one asks you to take responsibility for the experience you are creating for others.

That means understanding the fire, reading conditions, preparing participants, managing the environment, making sound decisions, and recognizing when conditions require you to change the plan.

Firewalking Instructor Training takes you behind the experience and teaches you what it takes to responsibly stand on the other side of the coalbed.

Who Becomes a Firewalking Instructor?

There isn't one type of person who belongs around the fire.

Some instructors want to incorporate firewalking into work they already do. Others discover firewalking first and then realize they want to create the experience for others.

This training may be right for:
Coaches & Facilitators

Add a powerful experiential element to the work you already do with individuals and groups.

Retreat & Event Leaders

Develop the skills to incorporate professionally facilitated firewalking into transformational experiences.

Speakers & Trainers
Take audiences beyond talking about courage, fear, and action and into an experience they can physically participate in.

Aspiring Firewalking Professionals
Begin developing the knowledge and practical experience needed to lead firewalks yourself.
SECURE YOUR SPOT

You don't need to arrive as a fire expert. You need to arrive willing to learn, participate, practice, and take the responsibility of leading others seriously.

HANDS ON TRAINING
You Can't Learn Firewalking From a PowerPoint

Theory matters.

Then you have to go outside.

You'll work directly with the fire, the site, the equipment, your fellow trainees, and the situations that instructors encounter when creating real firewalking experiences.

The goal isn't simply to memorize a process.

It's to understand why you're doing what you're doing so you can make better decisions when the real world doesn't follow the plan.
Experience Instructor Training

Respect the Fire. Respect the Experience. Respect the Responsibility.

Tiger Tamers approaches Firewalking Instructor Training with the belief that the extraordinary nature of firewalking should never overshadow the responsibility that comes with facilitating it.

We want instructors who understand the mechanics of the experience, think critically about changing conditions, respect participant choice, and recognize that good judgment matters as much as confidence.

We're not interested in simply producing people who know how to build a coalbed.

We're developing people capable of leading the experience around it.
